Lincoln Middle School in Oakland, OR has been granted an AmeriCorps volunteer position for this coming school year. The volunteer will serve as Wellness Coordinator and will be in charge of bicycle and pedestrian safety education, managing the school's bicycle fleet, investigating and implementing farm-to-school and/or school gardens, and promoting physical activity and healthy nutrition to students.
