This year's goodies...
We are pleased to provide raffle items and awards for all participants this year that are both fun and useful. Nutcase Helmets is supporting Oregon Walk+ Bike to School Day by offering not just one but two helmets to raffle at each school. These helmets are specially designed for Walk and Bike to School day and feature refective yellow safety signs on the helmets. This is a new technology being used just for Oregon's Walk and Bike to School Day!
We are also excited to offer participating school's Clif Bars' Fruit Leathers, yellow Walk and Bike shoelaces, reflective hang tags and stars. Plus, to assist with each school's walking school bus program, 2 safety vests and a floor pump from Planet Bike to help with keeping the wheels on the bikes going round and round. Additionally Oregon Deptartment of Transportation and TriMet (Portland Metro area schools) are providing useful tips and tools for kids and parents alike.
Finally, funding support is provided through the generosity of the Fred Meyer Foundation,Clif Bar and the Oregon Department of Transportation Transportation's Safe Routes to School Program.
